You Don’t Spend Money Because You Want to. You Spend Money Because You’re Lazy.
The financial truth that many don’t understand.
This week I realized that I still have P2P loans going on. P2P is money that you lend to another person and earn interest.
As an investor first I had to look at which platforms. Since I have a sophisticated filing system (old emails) I found my logins again.
At that time I had paid $800 on two platforms and really expected that at some point I would hear about bankruptcies, loan defaults, and other things and that my experience with them would be considered a failure.
Well. I was curious to know if this is an exaggeration, what is going on, and how I feel about it. All in all 420 dollars of interest with 1600 dollars of invested capital.

$800 To $960 A Year If The Baker Makes Your Breakfast For You.
Why make your own breakfast for work when it is so much easier at the bakery or the gas station?
There is a sandwich and coffee for $3-$4. It is no longer worth going to the kitchen at 6 in the morning, is it?
This seemingly small expense alone adds up to $60 to $80 per month for 21 working days and $800 to $1100 per year.
How much does it cost to make your own breakfast?
A large bread roll costs 25 cents, plus a slice of sausage for 15 cents, a slice of cheese for 20 cents, and lettuce for 5 cents. That would give us $0.65. The self-made coffee costs 15 cents, which would mean a total price of $0.80.
This represents a savings of $528 to $768 per year, while the time expenditure per day would be only 5 to 10 minutes.
Breakfast at the bakery only serves as a symbol for me when we think that it would no longer be worth it to prepare our own food and that it would be…
